Let An Event with Class plan your High School Reunion from start to finish.  An Event with Class is your one-stop-shop for your High School Reunion Planning needs for the Greater Metropolitan Kansas City, MO & KS area.  We offer your Committee the following.

ü Liability

We sign all vendor contracts (Hotel, DJ, Photographer...) which means you assume no liability for food and beverage minimums and other vendor deposits.  

ü Research To Locate Your Classmates

Our research associates are professionally trained to use the latest techniques to locate classmates.  Because we are affiliated with the National Association of Reunion Managers, we can do the most thorough and efficient job of finding your classmates by accessing our national resources.

ü Interactive Website Presence

We design a webpage for you customized for your class in your school colors with all your reunion details.  In addition our website provides:

• a form for classmates to update their address or that of a missing classmate,

• a downloadable template for their Memory Book Bio,

• on-line registration so classmates can pay via credit card,

• on-line advertising is available for alumni as well as advertising in your class Memory Book,

• complete listings for pre-paid alumni, missing classmates, those that are unable to attend and more.

 ü Dinner / Catering

Whether you want a hotel or private facility, we will obtain the facility, pay all deposits, and provide the dinner you select.  We sign all contracts and assume all food and beverage minimums.

ü Advertising

We will send your reunion information to the KC Star, local papers, and the local cable TV channel.  We cannot guarantee publishing in newspapers because PSAs depend on the amount of space a paper has left over, but we will send your reunion info to the publications.  

We will also post strategic announcements on Reunion.com and other on-line sites to promote your reunion, generate enthusiasm, and to encourage attendance.   

ü Entertainment

You choose whether you would like a band or disc jockey to play the special nostalgic music that means so much to you and your classmates. 

 ü Printing / Mailings

We cover the cost of design, print, and postage for 2 bulk mailings.  Those mailings include a save the date card & detailed invitation.  Our mailings are focus group tested to maximize turn out.  

 ü Hosting

Our staff will be present at the reunion to do those small, but important tasks you would otherwise have to be occupied with, at the expense of having a good time.

ü Name Tags

We provide alumni nametags, with senior class pictures if desired.  Not only do we create the nametags for those attending the reunion, but our staff is there to pass them out so your committee members can enjoy themselves.

ü Decorations

We decorate with balloons, which adds a festive atmosphere to the reunion. Other types of decorations are available upon request.

ü Committee Participation

A reunion is only as great as the number of classmates attending. Your most important job as members of the reunion committee is to encourage your classmates to attend & pre-pay.  Please tell all your old friends you see about your upcoming reunion and to contact An Event with Class to ensure they get their reunion invitation.

• We require all Committee Members to pay for their reunion ticket in advance, at the time of signing the contract, as a non-refundable deposit.  This just shows us that you, the Committee, are excited about the reunion and the reunion planning process.

• We ask that as the reunion date approaches your committee does a phone-a-thon to encourage turnout.

• We also ask that each reunion committee member submit a Memory Book Bio to add to your classes Memory Book.

ü Price

We price our reunions on a per person basis. We will do all of the following: alumni search, locating and making deposits on party facility and catering services, web hosting, booking and managing the DJ or band, printing of a save the date card, a detailed invitation, and confirmation mailings, postage, decorations, record keeping, name tags, and we will staff & managing the party.

• The price depends on the type of reunion your committee wants. We can suggest ways your committee can keep within the price range you want.

• We offer a full refund upon written notice received 14 days prior to the reunion. Since we only get paid by the people attending your reunion; we make every effort to get as many people as possible to the reunion. Attendance is the most important aspect of a reunion!
